Information and payment methods
On the chml.ro website prices are displayed in Euro (EUR) and do not include VAT, payment is made on the basis of the proforma invoice in Lei (RON) at the BNR exchange rate.
Payment can be made in any of the following ways:
- Debit / Credit Card, through the Netopia Payments – MobilPay system.
- Bank transfer after placing the order based on the proforma invoice.
The customer can opt for the chosen method of payment when completing the order or when accessing the proforma invoice in the customer account.
Payment by Bank Card
Payment by Debit or Credit Card is processed securely by Netopia Payments – MobilPay, in this way we can provide our customers with a secure and efficient online payment service.
Confidentiality of Information
Personal data is entered using a 256-bit SSL encrypted connection. Personal information is not transferred to other third parties, neither by CHML WEB SERVICES SRL nor by Netopia Payments – MobilPay. Make sure you fill in the form correctly and indicate the billing dates and the persons to whom delivery will be made. The e-mail address is of utmost importance as order information and the list of products ordered will be sent via e-mail.
Securing Transactions
If you choose the “Pay by Card” method you will need to fill in a form with your card information. Visa and MasterCard (Visa/Visa Electron and Mastercard/Maestro) credit/debit card payments use the “3-D Secure” system developed by these organisations, which provides the same level of security for online transactions as for ATM or physical merchant transactions. “3-D Secure” ensures first and foremost that no information related to your card is transferred or stored at any time on our server or on Netopia Payments – MobilPay servers, this data is directly entered into Visa and MasterCard systems. In addition, “3-D Secure” is an electronic cardholder identity authentication system. The cardholder authentication process is based on the security code known only to the cardholder and takes place only on Visa or MasterCard servers, as appropriate. The “3-D Secure” system allows online purchases to be made with any card issued under the Visa or MasterCard licence, including debit cards and Maestro and Visa Electron electronic cards. Virtual cards issued by these entities are also accepted.

Which payment methods are accepted on chml.ro?
